We strive to be a church where all ages are inspired and empowered by the Holy Spirit to align their lives to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to be a blessing to those in our communities, by sharing and demonstrating the good news of the transforming power of the love of Jesus, by living, proclaiming and teaching what we believe.
Jesus clearly declared the purpose and vision of every believer.
“Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation”
“Go therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”
“You will be my witnesses”
The apostle Paul wrote:
“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors as though God were making His appeal through us”
2 Corinthians 5v20
We believe . . . in the deity of Jesus Christ; His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit; His virgin birth; His sinless life; His substitution death on the cross; His bodily resurrection; His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and His personal, imminent return.
The only solution for our spiritually lost state is to be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ. Salvation is a free gift, by grace. Good works can’t achieve it nor is it given according to religion, race, status, or ability—salvation is through faith alone and by grace alone.
The Word of God
We believe the Bible to be the Word of God, 2 Timothy 3:16-17. We believe in its message, to have a relationship with God and to know Him as Father through a personal faith in Jesus Christ. This is only possible through Christ’s work on the cross. As a result, we place a high value on preaching and teaching the Word of God.
Empowered by the Holy Spirit
We believe that all who begin a personal relationship with Jesus Christ have the God given gift and opportunity to live life empowered by the Holy Spirit, Acts 1v7 & 8. The empowering of the Holy Spirit releases men and women in worship, gifts, and ministries that bring encouragement to others and help to build the Church. We also seek to cultivate the fruit of the Spirit in our lives and relationships.
A Royal Priesthood
We believe that ‘In Christ’ we are all made equal, no one is more important or more special than the next person. God has commissioned every single Christian to serve, minister and proclaim the Gospel, different roles and gifts but all equal, 1Peter2v9.
